Busan Biennale × Frieze Film Seoul 2026 is a collaborative off-site film programme presented during Frieze Seoul week, curated by Amal Khalaf and Evelyn Simons, Co-Artistic Directors of the Busan Biennale 2026, Dissident Chorus. Conceived as a Seoul-based extension of the Biennale’s curatorial concerns, the programme brings together moving-image works by participating artists, foregrounding practices across film, sound, performance, ritual, choreography, club culture, collective memory, and political or embodied resistance. Curated in three parts, it reflects Dissident Chorus’s exploration of sound, voice, breath, rhythm, and bodily presence as tools for communication, healing, dissent, and collective experience. September 1 will feature Q&A with Participating Artists and Co-Artistic Directors.
