Mira M. Yang explores collective memory, ideology, and processes of subject formation in the context of transcultural belonging and diasporic experience. Working across installation, kinetic sculpture, film, and performance, Mann foregrounds the theatricality of contemporary art, positioning viewers as active participants. Drawing on traditions such as Korean pansori and samulnori, Mann visualizes collective memory and generates new narratives in which identities and histories intersect, overlap, and collide.
