Brahim Tall’s practice explores the relationship between the Black body and media production, and the ways in which this shape both personal and collective Black experiences. Through artistic research, he examines historically constructed gazes, disrupting and transforming them through aesthetic displacement. Moving fluidly across film, photography, video and audio installation, and performance, Tall interrogates how the Black body is read through images, revealing the mechanisms and embedded biases that shape ways of seeing.
