Dew Kim's site-specific installation, The Stage - After God, unfolds across the Busan Museum of Contemporary Art and the Former Busan Nam High School, connecting the two sites into a single pilgrimage. Following Act 1: The Stage of Blood at the Busan MoCA, the journey continues here at the main building of the Former Busan Nam High School.

Act 2: The Empty Center feels like a ruin left behind after a religious ritual when nothing remains at its center. Microphone cables dangling from the second floor metaphorically represent the desires of a crowd seeking a savior, yet on the altar inside the glass room, only a single bent and twisted microphone remains, mapping the traces of a scapegoat that has lost its voice. Translucent sheets printed with digital glitches and pop culture fragments adorn this space like corrupted sacred paintings. Ever-glitching and shapeshifting, these images bear witness to the emptiness of a temple where both messiah and focal point of worship have vanished.
