Aliaskar Abarkas’s Spell is presented on the ground of the Former Busan Nam High School and inside the Busan Museum of Contemporary Art. Here at the museum, the same score reappears as a fused-glass sculpture. The monumental score that filled the schoolground is transformed into a smaller object shaped by light, transparency, and permanence. Placed across two different sites, the two manifestations of Spell move between drawing, landscape, performance, and sculpture, bridging experimental notation and collective artistic practice.
