Tom Hallet
Tom Hallet is a Brussels-based multidisciplinary artist whose practice examines how cultural oppression shapes queerness through a visual language balancing attraction and resistance. Working across installation, drawing, and sculpture using latex and organic materials, he confronts acts of violence—both historic and contemporary—while proposing possibilities for healing and regeneration. His works simultaneously evoke celebration, mourning, and tribute to victims of gender-based violence, linking queer and transphobic persecution to the medieval witch hunts. Through botanical, animalistic, and cosmic landscapes, Hallet reflects on survival, memory, and the enduring presence of queer histories within the natural world.
