Suki Seokyeong Kang's multidisciplinary practice spanned painting, sculpture, installation, performance, and video, through which she developed a visual language that negotiates between structure and movement. Reconfiguring traditional Korean cultural systems such as musical notation, dance, and weaving, her work proposes spatial and temporal frameworks through which the position of the individual can be reconsidered. Through modular objects, performative arrangements, and gridded compositions, she constructed environments in which bodies, gestures, and materials interact, articulating a dynamic relation between constraint and agency.
