Natasha Tontey is a Minahasan artist based between Jakarta and Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Her artistic practice primarily explores the fictional accounts of the history and myths surrounding “manufactured fear.” Through her work, she examines possible futures projected not from the perspective of dominant and established institutions, but through the subtle and personal struggles of marginalized entities and beings.
